Responsibilities
Adidas Originals launched a campaign titled "Unite All Originals" allowing creators to submit their response to the brief. I developed a concept around British Rave Culture, developing assets for an event and supporting merchandise.
Collaboration
After establishing the DNA of the concept - colour palettes, logos and typography, I collaborated with two local DJ's and organised a photography shoot behind abandoned flats, to deliver leading assets for poster campaigns. I also commissioned a content writer to develop a poem around the lead character - the Twisted Melon.
The Project
Challenge
The challenge was to submit the project concept in under two weeks, so I had to be quick with ideation, finding a shoot location, sourcing props, printing merchandise and bringing collaborators in on a short time frame.
Outcome
Whilst the project did not win the competition, it provided the opportunity to collaborate with different skillsets and to showcase building a concept at speed.
